Hand-dyed under ice, this cotton fabric is now a swirling blend of color and movement. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, absorbing the dye in its path as the ice melts.
These bundles are my favorite, cut to the versatile size: approx 9" x 11"
. Pre-shrunk 100% cotton, QSQ Timeless Treasures Soho collection
. At least ten 9"x11" pieces, plus fun accent scraps
. Dyed with earth-friendly Procion dye; no bleed, no fade, machine wash and dry
. Ships free in the USA
Curating the bundle is part of my art. You'll find a variety of hues, tones, tints, calms, and crazies. If there's a color you hate, add a note to your order.
Perfect for landscape and mini quilts, slow stitch and embroidery, art journals, patchwork, textile art, upcycled art, visible mending... wherever your creative path roams.
I created this twist on ice-dye, covering the cotton with ice in a strainer pan, then sprinkling dye grains on the ice like a canvas. It sleeps in the dark for 24 hours. Sometimes, I quick-dip in diluted dye for a "filter wash" of brown, gray... etc.
